The idea
Nocturne began with a single question: how little can a dial say and still hold attention. The answer is texture and depth — a black surface that is never flat, set against a bezel cut to catch every available photon.
The dial
An embossed black dial with a fine radial grain. Indices are applied white gold, slim and architectural. The type is restrained to two lines. Light moves across the surface in gradients rather than reflections.
The details
Coin-edge steel bezel, gilt Mercedes hands, exhibition sapphire caseback signed and engraved with the edition number. Double-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating.
The foundation
Each FORME 01 begins with a proven mechanical foundation — Seiko NH35 automatic. The movement and core case architecture are sourced; they are not represented as Second Forme's own. What we design is everything you see and touch: the dial, the hands, the bezel, the caseback, the finish, the proportions.
