The Small Edition · Limited to 25 numbered pieces.
The idea
Vertex asks whether color can be structural rather than decorative. The dial is faceted into planes that each catch light at a different angle, so the green is never one green — it is a field of greens that reorganizes as the watch moves.
The dial
A faceted geometric crystal laid across the dial in emerald. The facets are cut, not printed, so the surface has real depth and real edges. Indices sit at the vertices.
The details
Plain steel bezel to keep the dial the only event, polished baton hands, jubilee bracelet. Solid steel caseback, individually engraved.
The foundation
Each FORME 04 begins with a proven mechanical foundation — Seiko NH35 automatic. The movement and core case architecture are sourced; they are not represented as Second Forme's own. What we design is everything you see and touch: the dial, the hands, the bezel, the caseback, the finish, the proportions.
