The idea
Transparent makes the concept literal. The dial is the new work; the caseback is the foundation, left visible. Seeing both at once is the whole argument of the brand in one object.
The dial
Nocturne black with an embossed grain, kept quiet so it does not compete with the view through the back. Slim sword hands in brushed steel.
The details
Coin-edge bezel, brushed sword hands, jubilee bracelet. Exhibition sapphire caseback showing the regulated movement, signed and individually engraved.
The foundation
Each FORME 08 begins with a proven mechanical foundation — Seiko NH35 automatic. The movement and core case architecture are sourced; they are not represented as Second Forme's own. What we design is everything you see and touch: the dial, the hands, the bezel, the caseback, the finish, the proportions.
